Let us look into reality. Those who have a lot of frequent flyer miles either cannot plan their personal trips for exact dates or trying to combine business with pleasure or just do not want to fly anymore. Sometime those hundred thousand miles are just dying as it happened with my Lufthansa miles or at best you can use them for children.
