Leonid Shtilman
Entrepreneur and Scientist
Leonid is a serial entrepreneur and a scientist. He started three software companies, all of which had successful exits. In two of the companies, Leonid served as CEO and Chairman. He earned two Ph.Ds – one in Mathematics and the other in Mechanical Engineering and was a tenured professor. He has published more than 40 scientific papers, mostly in the field of hydrodynamics. He is fluent in three languages: English, Hebrew and Russian. Leonid is a world traveler and has visited more than 50 countries

All three companies that Leonid founded, Identify Software, XOsoft and Viewfinity, successfully passed through repositioning and restructuring phases. Company philosophy and product direction were always driven by customer and market demand.

Most of Leonid’s research was in the field of interaction of nonlinear waves, thermal and chemical instability, and turbulence and was based on extensive numerical simulations
